Look at what Heckery Dekkery Dot Travel Game Postcards for Children discovered on a recent trip to Ibiza!

It’s Sa Caleta!

The Phoenicians settled Sa Caleta as early as the 8th century BC.  Sa Caleta is near the city of San Josep!  This early settlement preceded the settlement of the city of Ibiza which is the capital and the largest city on the island of IbizaVila d’Eivissa in the Catalan language.

Did the Phoenicians enjoy relaxing on the sunny beaches of Ibiza?  Maybe they did when they weren’t busy starting a salt industry.  The salt ponds are located nearby and you can still visit them today as well.

So, shake up your visit a bit!  Add a dash of pepper if you like!  Take a look Sa Caleta.
